About Col. Baker Johnson
Baker Johnson, born Sept. 3, 1747, was a brother of of the Governor. He was a resident of Frederick and commanded Maryland troops during the Revolution. He surveyed and patented large tracts of land Westward of Fort Cumberland. One of his grandsons was General Bradley Johnson of the Confederate Army. He was also a lawyer.
