Biographical Summary

"(266) Colonel Charles Moray of Abercairny, died 1810. He was served heir to his brother 8th June 1786. He married the daughter and heiress of Sir William Stirling, fourth Baronet of Ardoch, and had issue: -

  • William (No. 268 below)."

He married Miss Stirling, daughter of Sir William Stirling, bart. of Ardoch, and had issue three sons and two daughters: 1. James Moray, a captain in the army, married to Miss Erskine of Torry; 2. William Moray, a captain in the army; 3. Charles Moray, a cadet in the East India service; 4. Christian Moray; and 5.
