George, the only son of Richard 3, was born in England, also 2 sisters born in England and later all 3 came to Virginia after their mother (Martha Silk) died . George stayed with Uncle Thomas, ( Richard 3 brother) at the home place Machodoc/Mt. Pleasant in Westmoreland Co. Virginia. George's 2nd wife, Anne Fairfax Washington was a widow of Lawrence Washington (half-brother of George Washington) and had been left the Mt.
