Walker homestead on Craigs Creek, Valley of Sinking Creek, in the County of Botetourt, New Castle, VA. Botetourt County is now Craig County. He was known as Colonel George Walker.
Children: John, 1781-; George Jr., 1783-; Jacob, 1785-1859; Elizabeth (Betsy) 1787-1840; Fredrick, 1788-; Catherine (Katy), 1791-; Daniel 1793-; Molly S. (Polly) 1795-; Peter, 1797-1845; Margaret (Peggy), 1799-1881; Sarah (Sallie) 1801-1834/50 and Susannah L. (Susie), 1803-
George and Margaret, his wife, were the first two buried in this cemetery.
