my 4 times great grand father was Ngatata I Te Rangi .. Chief of Te Atiawa and signature on the Treaty of Waitangi .

Apart from my Maori heritage my ancestors are mostly English ..Welsh.. Scottish ..Irish .. French ..German and many many more countries.....

have the normal ( seems funny to say that ) splash of famous relatives and like every one else finds out Kings Queens princes etc once again from many countries.....

I started a tree to see if I could find my Maori side and then got the bug and several years later have still got that damn genealogy bug....
