About Collin E. Carter

Beaver -- Collin E. Carter returned home to our Father in Heaven and his beloved wife, Eudora, on April 8, 2014. He was born in Coalville, Utah, on September 5, 1944, to Ercil Carter and Wanda Rolfe. Collin attended Elementary school and Provo High School and Trade Tech School. Collin served in the U.S. Army out of Fort Hood, Texas, from 1963-1969 and went to Korea. ,He married Eudora Jean Yardley in the LDS St. George Temple on July 21, 1967. He went to work for PDM then IPP power plant, also for the Boiler Makers Union Local 182 out of Salt Lake City. His employment took him all over the western United States. He retired in 2003 to stay home and take care of his wife and family. Our dad will be sorely missed by many. He was a great husband, dad, brother, son and grandpa. He was a great neighbor and friend to many. If it was within his power to help anybody out of any kind of jam, he would.

He loved to hunt, fish and ride horses and go camping, most of all he loved to spend time with family and friends. He was a member of the Beaver 1st Ward.Collin is survived by his children: Larry (Judy) Carter of Beaver, Utah, Angela (Kory) Gleave of Cedar City, Utah, Ashley Carter of Richfield, Utah, and Lexi Carter of Cedar City, Utah, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and two brothers: Craig (LaRaye) of Provo, Utah, and Cory (Evelyn) Carter of Phoenix, Arizona.
