Commander Colin MacKenzie Dundas was born on 12 September 1842.
He was the son of George Dundas, Lord Manour and Elizabeth MacKenzie.
He married Agnes Wauchope, daughter of Samuel Wauchope, on 4 January 1882.
He died on 19 June 1911 at age 68.
He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)
He lived at Ochtertyre, Perthshire, Scotland.
