I hereby certify that the name of Conrad Brumbough appears as that of a Private on a Class Roll of Captain John Orbison's Fourth Company, Fourth Battalion of Cumberland County Militia--Commanded by Colonel Samuel Culbertson, August 21st 1780.

He died in 1791 near Johnstown, Cambria Co., PA.

He and his brother Johannes (John) arrived at Germantown, Pa., October 7, 1765, on the ship, Countess of Sussex. Parents: Johannes Henrich/Heinrich BRUMBACH/BRUMBAUGH and Anna Julianna/Julianan KEMPER.

Spouse: Anna Christina HISER. Conrad Kemper BROMBACH/BRUMBAUGH and Anna Christina HISER were married on 25 MAY 1767.84 Children were: John B. Hiser BRUMBAUGH, Daniel BRUMBAUGH, Living, Living, Elizabeth BRUMBAUGH, Christiana/Christina/Christena BRUMBAUGH, William BRUMBAUGH, Susan BRUMBAUGH, Lavina BRUMBAUGH, Living, David BRUMBAUGH, George BRUMBAUGH.


Conrad and his wife Christina Hiser had twelve children, one of which was Christina Brumbaugh. Another was John Brumbaugh, born 10/19/1771, married Christina Metzger and moved to Miami County, Ohio. They are buried in the old Brumbaugh Cemetery northwest of the town of Covington, Ohio.
