He married Elizabeth Horner September 15, 1872 in Bedford Co, Pa, daughter of Isaac Horner and Julia Wissinger. She was born December 23, 1856 in Cambria Co, Pa, and died February 22, 1951 in Quakertown, Pa. Burial: Springfield Brethren Church, Passer, Pa.
