Abraham Rice[1] m. Patience Eames of Framingham, Massachusetts about 1721-2, and resided there.
He was a captain, selectman, etc., and was killed by lightning.
"Abraham Rice departed this life in a sudden and awful manner, and, as we ,trust, entered a better, June 3, 1777, in his 81st year."— Gravestone, Framington.
The will of Abraham Rice, dated Sept. 3, 1773, proved June 24, 1777, gave to wife Patience; to sons Abraham, Samuel, Henry, David, land in Lancaster; to daus. Sarah Fisher and Patience Toombs; to son Jonathan of Holden, Ex'or.
His widow, Patience d. Jan. 2,1796, aged 94.—Gravestone.
