In the name of God, Amen.

I, Adam Brinson, of Onslow County in North Carolina, being sick in body, but of sound mind and memory,knowing it is God's appointment for all men to die owning and acknowledging the Christian faith, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, in form and manner following: First my Will is that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid in some convenient time after my death, at the descretion of my Executors.

Item: I give and bequeath to my eldest son, Stiring Brinson, one hundred acres of land joining Skippers Line to be laid off at the discretion of my Executors, to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son, Mathew Brinson, that part of my land joining my brother Mathew, including the New Field and other land, suitable for a settlement, to be laid off at the discretion of my Executors, to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son, Adam Brinson, that part of my land where my son Stiring did formerly live (the rent of it reserved to Stiring six years) to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son John Brinson, the rest of my land, including the plantation where I now live, to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son Isaac Brinson, a sum of mo;ney to the value of the land I give to Adam or Mathew to be put out to interest for his use to him and his heirs forever.

Item: My Will is that all of the rest of my estate be equally divided between my well beloved wife, Sarah Brinson, and my son, Stiring Brinson, and my four daughters, namely: Nancy, Pheby, Apsila, and Sarah Brinson, first charging Stiring with what I have given him, without this will, to them and their heirs forever.

The division to be made at any time or times when necessity may require, according to the discretion of my Executors. I do also appoint and authorize my well beloved friends, Ezekiel Hunter, Robert Nixon and my son, Stiring, the Executors of this my last Will and Testament, utterly revoking all other Will or Wills, owning this only to be my last Will and Testament, in witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 12th day of February, 1769.
