About Cyrena Elizabeth Riney
Mrs. Cyrene E. Riney, 91, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Canton, died Saturday, March 7, 1981, in John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix following an extended illness. Cyrene Elizabeth Riney was born Jan. 2 1890, in Hannibal, a daughter of Alvis and Elizabeth Moody McClenning. She married Charles Riney Nov. 27, 1912. He died June 21, 1933. She was a member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Tom Riney of Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Grandstaff of Phoenix, Mrs. Louise Silcott of Chicago, and Mrs. J. Burdetta Scullion of Dunnellon, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two sistes, one brother, and a great grandson. Funeral services were held in Davis Funeral Home in Canton, conducted by the Rev. James Wheeler. Music was furnished by Mrs. Marie Brennan at the organ.
