1873 - 1897 Y.M. Tuan Syed Ahmad ibni al-Marhum Syed Husain Jamal ul-Lail, Raja of Perlis Indra Kayangan. b. at Arau, 3rd May 1825, eldest son of Y.M. Tuan Syed Husain ibni al-Marhum Syed Harun Jamal ul-Lail, Raja of Perlis Indra Kayangan, by his first wife, Inche' Sofia binti Datuk Awang Muhammad Arshad, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 21st November 1873. Granted the personal title of Phra' Sundara Raja by the King of Siam. Promoted to Phya Visitra Sungrama Rama Visitra Asmara Phraya Perlis, 1st March 1874. Rcvd: Companion of the Order of the White Elephant of Siam. m. (first) Inche' Manis (d.s.p.). m. (second) Y.M. Sharifa Jahara (d.s.p.). m. (third) Y.M. Sharifa Seha binti Syed Muhammad, daughter of Syed Muhammad al-Haddad, by his wife, Y.M. Sharifa Jahara binti Syed Ahmad al-Qadri. m.
