About Dadlallah Hamdanid of Mosul
Her parentage is disputed, she is likely a daughter of Abu Taghlib. It is known Abu concluded a treaty whereby he supplied Bardas Skleros with light cavalry in exchange for a marriage agreement between the family of the Emir, and the family of Bardas Skleros. It is also known that after Bardas Skleros lost his bid to become Byzantine Emperor, Bardas Skleros fled East and took refuge in Baghdad. It would follow that this would only be possible if he was considered family by his son Romanos Skleros's marriage to the Emir of Mosul's daughter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bardas_Skleros https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Taghlib
