Obituary from the Plymouth Pilot-News - May 28, 1982

Mrs. Daisy Spitler, 96, 13227 W. 13th Rd., Plymouth, died at her home at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Born Dec. 3, 1885 in Marshall County to David and Mary Jane Vandermark Zehner. She was a lifetime Marshall County resident. Mrs. Spitler was married Nov. 17, 1913 at Plymouth to Ray Spitler, who preceded her in death July 11, 1980. Surviving are two children: Miss Esther Spitler, Plymouth; and Ronald Spitler, Argos; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Rev. John Weeks, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Plymouth, officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Addition to New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 till 4 and from 7 till 9 p.m. Saturday
