Daisy Witter

Christened Alice Maud Witter, but changed name (by1893) to Daisy Witter. Singing solo, 'Open Stood the Gates of Heaven' in a concert in Jarrow Grange in 1893. Flower girl at Christchurch, Jarrow Grange in 1896. Teaching at an Infant School in 1899. Gained a B.A. degree at Durham University. Passed several examinations with first class honours.

In the 1921 census, Daisy was a housewife, while her husband John Hebron was a chemistry master at Taunton School, Somerset.
