Son of Hugh Armstrong (1765-1825) of Warren County, Georgia, and Mary {Golden} Armstrong; Married Priscilla Dennis on December 31, 1812 in Warren County, Georgia. They had at least 12 or 13 known children. Historical records indicate they migrated to Jefferson County, Alabama about 1820.
