Daniel Chandler

Baptised in Alverstoke on 18th December 1726 (IGI).

Entered at Winchester College in 1740 but "renounced" ie did not take the place up. Matriculated at Brazenose College 24.10.1744 aged 17. BA in 1749.

Married to Sarah daughter of Thomas and Mary Frederick (Baronet) of Burwood House, Surrey. Only one child of marriage, Sarah, who died a spinster.

Curate and Lecturer at Hampton. Middx. Then Vicar of Thames Ditton, Surrey. 1780 - 1791 Rector of Hascombe Surrey. Burried with his wife at Hampton. Inscription in church.
