Daniel Knight

Daniel Knight was the son of Thomas and Susanna (King) Knight of Kittery. He was married on 2 August 1734 to Mehitable Libby. He died in June 1779, and administration of his estate was granted on 12 July 1779. Daniel and Mehitable were the parents of at least four children, including John Knight of Somersworth, NH who was appointed executor of his father's estate.

Daniel's sister, Miriam Knight, was married to Mehitable Libby's brother, Nathaniel Libby.

DANIEL KNIGHT son of Thomas Knight was born ca 1712 in Kittery. He married in Kittery 2 Aug 1734 Mehitable Libby daughter of Matthew and Elizabeth(Brown)Libby.

Daniel and Mehitable had the following children all born in Kittery

 Nathaniel                  ca 1746 Daniel probably spent his life as a farmer and lumberman. Lumbering was a major industry in this area at this time. Several members of the Knight family were Lumbering contractors.

           Daniel’s will was administered 12 July 1779 by John Knight of Somersworth N.H.
