About Daniel Martin
Following is the record of Daniel Martin and Louise Grosch. To their granddaughter, Virginia Martin Diel, we are grateful for making available her records on this branch of the Martin family which she compiled and published several years ago and for ably assisting to bring the records up to date.
Daniel Martin was the fourth son and seventh child of John Martin and Elizabeth Bildheimer Martin. He was born in Cooper County, Mo. Aug. 18, 1858 and died Oct. 17, 1913. On Oct. 10, 1882 he married Louise Grosch, born in Edwardsville, Ill. May 4, 1866 and died Feb. 27, 1935 in Cooper County, Mo. They were the parents of five children.
Daniel Martin and Louise Grosch were the parents of: 1. Louise Margaret (1884), 2. Daniel Elmer (1886), 3. Henry A. (1888), 4. Julius Charles (1889), 5. Fred William (1893)
