About Daniel "Red Jackson" Reed
Hundreds took personal reservations from Jackson, of which one of them was this profiled "Chief man of the Mobilian Choctaw". Avatar shows the 54 men who left their personal reservations of 640 acres each, flipped them, and removed to DuRant's Constitutional Government and not under duress to do so. Therefore, the whole story needs to ponder why the Mississippi Choctaw's 5 pages of Dawes Enrollees did not choose to leave to go to Oklahoma and the answer is that in MISSISSIPPI, it was a choice. This may not fit with the narrative to make Jackson take the sole credit for removal, view of history; but, if you graduate from a MS High School, you have to take MS History and within it are the easy to read names, in certified copies of the original ink, in the MS Library Rooms across the state, the hundreds of Choctaw staying on personal reservations all across the state and not just in the Choctaw reservation in Philidelphia. Also, the Battle of New Orlean's maps of the soldiers' locations on the field show the front line to have been the Choctaw unit, under the best friend of Jackson, Brig Gen Pushmataha.
