1861 Canada Census,, Galway Township:: Lists Daniel Reid,,A32 and wife Alice,,A34,, together with 6 children. They both born in Ireland and the children in Canada.

1871 Canada Census,, Galway:: Lists Daniel and Alice Read,, both A46,, together with 7 children(2 boys and 5 girls). Also living with them is Daniels' father,, Nathaniel Reid,,A65. (Age may be incorrect,, as per death certificate).

Mar.,, 1894:: Property is partially severed in favour of the Reed Rd. Ownership of land is passed to Daniel Reid Jr. at this time.

Jan. 13,, 1905:: Daniel Reid dies in Galway,, Ontario. Age is stated as 81 years old. Celebrant is Rev. Father O’Leary. Witnesses are William Clark and his wife Catherine(Read) and Mrs. James Clark.
