About Daniel Ross
he parentage of Daniel is not known with any certainty. According to the history prepared by Evelyn Davis Fincher there is a Daniel ROSS born to a John ROSS and Deborah OSGOOD in 1678 and a Daniel ROSS born to a Killicres ROSS and Mary GALLY in 1679. It is suspected that John and Killicres were brothers because of the similarity of their children’s names. However, either of the two Daniels could have been the Daniel that married Susannah ROGERS in 1705. Following the assumption made in the Fincher book the lineage shown here assumes the John/Deborah parentage. According to "Savage" John ROSS was an original settler in Ipswich and married Deborah OSGOOD there in 1663. There is no indication as to when Killicres ROSS and Mary GALLY were married.
