Daniel August Shultz

Daniel August Shultz immigrated from to the United States from Prussia (1850's) with his wife, Sophia, son Wilhelm and daughter Mary. Their children Katie, Anna, Paulina and John were born in Illinois.

Mr. Schultz, father of John Schultz of Stately, died at the latter's home Tuesday morning from complications resulting from paralysis. Deceased was seventy-seven years of age.

OBITUARY NOTICE

Daniel August Schultz [sic], whose death, which occurred at the home of his son John in Stately, Dec. 9th, was mentioned in last weeks Advance, was 77 years and 14 days old. He was born in Germany April 29, 1825, and was married in 1847. His health had been good until about a week before his death. Six* children survive him, Wilhelm, John, Katie, Ann and Paulina. The funeral occurred on Friday, Dec. 13th, from the Moravian church in Bashaw and the interment took place in the Bashaw Cemetery.
