Died in his 73rd year. An unexpected will of Daniel Smith, still preserved, giving much information about the lands which he held, is given in full in the printed records of Smithtown. It mentions his wife, Hannah, eldest son, Daniel, second son, Obadiah, third son, Caleb, fourth son, Joshua, fifth son, Micah, and three daughters, not named. The Bible of Daniel Smith is preserved, having been for many years in possession of George A. Smith, Smithtown.
