About Daniel Stocker
Aged 75y
Daniel Stocker, the son of Andreas/Andrew Stocker and Juliana Marie Watuert, was born in 1780-1781 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He married Christiana Stenger in Easton,Northampton,Pennsylvania in 1805. About 1806 many Stockers moved to Tuscarawas county Ohio. Christiana Stenger died there about 1845, and in 1846 Daniel, 7 of his 8 children, their spouses and families, migrated to Iowa. These families settled in Appanoose, Monroe and Wapello counties.
