Daniel H. Weaver, 77, of 1177 W. Main Street, Ephrata,died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Ephrata Community Hospital after an illness of five weeks.
He was the husband of Lizzie S. Martin Weaver, who died in May 1981.
Born in Brecknock Townsnip, he was a son of the late Martin M. and Ellen Horning Weaver. He was a retired self-employed farmer and had also been employed with Martin's Pretzel Bakery, Akron.
He was a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church. He was also a Sunday School teacher for most of his adult life.
Surviving are two sons, Martin M., Womelsdorf R1; Henry M., Robesonia R1; six daughters, Ruth M., wife of Ira B.Landis, Manheim R3; Martha M., wife of Raymond R.Hoover, East Earl R2; Betty, wife of James R. Martin, Mohnton R2; Naomi, Esther M. and Anna Mae, all at home; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers; Paul H., Akron; Martin H., Myerstown; two sisters; Hettie, wife of Elam Wenger, Ephrata, and Lizzie, wife of Elmer Kreider, Blue Ball.
