Daniel Whiskeyman

7 Oct 1939: Daniel A. Whiskeyman, a popular and well known resident of Annville, died last evening at 7 o'clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Snoke, of 503 Maple Street, Annville. He was aged 78 years, and death came after an illness of 8 weeks. The deceased was a florist by trade. For the last 22 years, he was employed as a janitor at the Christ Reformed Church, Annville, of which he was a member. His wife, the former Emma Forney, preceded him in death 12 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Snoke; and Mrs. Lee Hastings, of Atlantic City, NJ; and one sister, Mrs. Deborah Snavely, of Sunnyside; and four grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
