About Daphne Gumbs
Mother was a humble and sweet person. She was devoted to helping the sick and that's why mom became a nurse.
Mom was a Seamstress all of her life. Mom made her twin daughters wedding dresses, flower girl, bridesmaid and maid of honor dresses also. She also made dresses, gowns and costumes for other family members and business associates.
After leaving her teaching post, mother followed her 2nd love (being that God was her first), which was caring for the sick and the elderly. Mother cared for the sick until she retired in 1991.
I love you mom...I will miss you in my life forever. Tell Jeffrey and Papa hello for me.
