MEMORIAL PHOTOS 4 FLOWERS 11 Darrell Glenn "David" Phelps, 27 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life along with his wife, Chelsie from injuries they received while crossing in front of a train Tuesday evening, May 10th, 2016.

David was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 26th, 1989, son of Mindy Renee Daulton Phelps and the late Larry Glenn Phelps. David was a loving, kind and caring father, husband and son. He enjoyed old country music, and spending time with his children and his family.

David was survived by his mother, Mindy Renee Phelps of Somerset, Kentucky; two daughters, Faith LeeAnn Phelps of Whitley City, Kentucky and Sceleta Jane Elaine "Ellie" Phelps of Somerset, Kentucky; one step-daughter, Kamryn Jean Renee Harper of Eubank, Kentucky; one son, Jace William Glenn Phelps of Somerset, Kentucky; three brothers, Larry Edward Michael "Mooney" Phelps, Joshua Daniel Ryan Phelps, and Jacob Matthew Scott Phelps, all of Somerset, Kentucky; two nieces, Aubrey Marie Phelps and Abigail Grace Phelps, both of Somerset, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Alta Phelps of Bethelridge, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Chelsie Daninelle Bryant Phelps, whom he married on May 18th, 2013; his father, Larry Glenn Phelps, who departed this life on August 28th, 2002; one brother, Justin Cole Phelps; maternal grandparents, Brenda Vaught and Darrell Daulton; and paternal grandfather, Edd Phelps.

Visitations were held after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15th, 2016 in the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Burial followed in the Bethelridge Cemetery.
