About David Bagley

When the family got ready to leave New Brunswick, apparently Julia Ann's mother, Ann Grant, took David, who was 15, and hid him. This was a great hardship on the parents to leave this child behind. He lived with his grandmother who took care of him and some of her older grandchildren until her death in 1860. He then lived with his Uncle Charles and his wife.
