About David Baldwin

David Baldwin, son of David Baldwin and Abigail Burr, was b. in Spencer, Mass., about 1733, it is said; settled in Smithfield, NY., and d. there about 1818, aged 80 to 90; he had lost one leg.
He m., accourding to Draper's "History of Spencer," SIBBILAH WHITE, dau. John White, Sen., June 8,1763. By tradition, it is said, he m. his wife in Ashfield, Mass.
Children were: John (c1760), Jonathan, and David. And, according to the Worcester, Mss., several daughters.
- It is noted that the given date of marriage and the birth of son John do not compute...BUT..CC Baldwin DOES qualify and says 'perhaps later'
