David Benjamin and his in-laws Daniel Brown and wife were killed in a Indian Massacre at Loyalstock, Lycoming Co, Pa. about 1778. David's wife Elizabeth and children were captured by the Indians and held for about 7 years when they were rescued. His wife Elizabeth eventually brought her family to Ohio. She died at 101 yrs.
