David "Dave" Brown (1958 - 2004)

Dave (45), was shot dead by armed robbers on his smallholding in Bredell near Kempton Park at approx 01h00 on 20th May 2004. He sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

  • The Palmer family from Fairlands was attacked by robbers in their home in July. Margaret Palmer (57), is still fighting for her life in a hospital after being shot. Her husband, Dr. Christopher Palmer (57), was hit over the head with an iron pipe, and Ruberts, the couples' sixteen year old son was shot in the knee, one of the couple's 16-year-old twin sons was shot in the chest, and Gaston was hit several times with the iron pipe.
