About David William Burns

David, 44, a record clerk and parole officer was shot four time by an escaped convict, B.F. Casey, at Alicia, Ark. He had been sent to Texarkana, TX to escort Casey and another recaptured fugitive, Charles O'Keith, back the Lansing, KS (Kansas State Prison). It was believed that someone smuggled the .32 caliber revolver to Casey at the Texarkana depot.
