About David Crockett Dunlap
Enlisted in Company M, First Texas Infantry, at Sumter, Texas, May 5, 1862. He was wounded at Gettysburgh (July 2, 1863), and again at Chickamauga, at which his right leg was amputated. He was discharged September 19, 1863.
