David Crichton Eccles may have been married twice? I have not been able to locate his first marriage which may have been in England. I have his second marriage record to Catherine Beattie Wallace McDiarmid in 1948. He was a Food Products warehouseman and she was a hotel bookkeeper. They were living in Glasgow at the time of their marriage.

David died in Lancashire in 1964, his estate under probate was left to is widow Catherine Beattie Wallace Eccles. There appear to be no children. (Added January 2016.)
