David Herr, 74, Armstrong Retiree
David H. Herr, 74, of 2727 Willow Street Pike, died at home at 10:40 a. m. Sunday, following a lengthy illness. He and his wife, Lottie E. Carrigan Herr, observed their 47th wedding on April 11. He was born in Martic Township, a son of the late Franklin M. and Rachel R. Armstrong Herr. He was formerly employed in the shipping department of Armstrong World Industries, retiring in 1973. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle, Lancaster. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Rae, Lancaster; Mrs. Grace Breneman, Millersville and a twin brother, Levi, New Providence.
