About David M Kanagy

- Born 5 miles west of Lewistown along the Juniata - midway between Lewistown and Mattawana, near the 3 locks, now Lockport, along the Canal. - The family moved from Juniata to Milroy, Mifflin Co about 1883-1884. - For many years old David could be seen wending his way to and fro in his one horse buggy, but one cold day during the winter just ended he made his last trip to the village.
