Mam-Mar (Dorothy May Kiser) and Edward Kiser shared that the Kisers (David, Joseph H., etc.) came from Martinsburg, PA. This is found to be incorrect. The Kisers were in fact from Martinsburg, but not PA, but West Virginia. The Martinsburg Post Office is located in Opequon Township in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Prior to 1863, it was the state of Virginia.
