David Henry Orser (1784 - 1843), son of Albert Orser (1742 - 1845) and Sarah Gardiner (1751 - ), was born in 1784 at Pittstown, Rensselaer County, New York. He died at the age of 59 about 1843 in Michigan. David married (1) Amy Stitt (c1788 - c1831) before 1812 at Pennsylvania, and (2) Martha Allen Harris (1803 - 1860) in 1832 at Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Michigan. David Henry Orser fought in the War of 1812 as a private in Carr's Regiment of the New York Militia.
