David Paterson was born on 19 Jan 1864 in Harley Muir, West Linton, Peebles-shire, Scotland, United Kingdom, son of James Paterson (~1843 - 1900) and Alison (Walker) Paterson (~1841 - 1900).

He died aged 50 on 17 Jan 1915 at the Western Infirmary in Glasgow and his death registered in Hillhead in Glasgow.

Research Notes

He was born prior in 1864 to parents marriage in 1866. His birth record has a note stating his parents were not yet married at the time of his birth.
