About David Yeager
Born to parents John Yeager and Catherine B. Herner he married Ruth Ann Kline and had the following children: Loretta, Franklin, Leander, Harrietta,Isaiah, Angelina, and William Kline. He died from a logging accident as stated in his obituary:July 9,1886 in the Democratic Sentinel Newspaper: David Yeager, of Locust township, age 73 years , was killed last Saturday by a log which he was moving from the side of a hill, rolling upon him. After the accident he managed to get to the public road and summon assistance, but died in about 3/4 hours after he was taken home. He was buried on Tuesday. The deceased was twice county commissioner and sustained an honorable record as such.
