About David Randolph Zook

- Adventuresome David rode on horseback through every state of the Union before he got married. - David and Malinda lived on a farm east of Belleville where they raised a family of nine. They attended Belleville Mennonite (now Maple Grove). - David and Malinda celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. After their marriage, they began farming on the farm of the former's father and were residents of this farm for ten years, after which they purchased the farm now occupied by their son Isaac east of Belleville. They resided on this farm for twenty eight years and in spring of 1909 they retired from farming and purchased the Al Patton property on East Main Street, at which place Mr. Zook was called to the Great Beyond. - Mr. Zook was found dead on his cot in a downstairs room about 5:45 o'clock by his son-in-law, John Nafzinger who resides in the same dwelling.
