About Deborah Purdin

Mrs. Deborah Purdin, wife of Ira E. Purdin, Sr., died at her home near Forest Grove, Oregon, on Thursday, August 9. Mrs. Purdin was born in Kentucky in the year 1802. She moved from there to Missouri and after living in that state a number of years, came with her husband and family to oregon, in the spring of 1854, and resided in Washington county until her death. Her husband still survives her, having reached the ripe old age of 87 years.
She has four children living, all of whom reside in Washington county, and were present at the time of her death, namely: Mrs. Mary Ann Watson, Mrs. E. J. Barrett, W. W. Purdin and Ira E. Purdin, Jr.
