About Deborah Stringham

The oldest known daughter of Solomon Leonard and Huldah Hodge was b. 1785-1794 per the 1800 US Census and may have died before 1820: Her sons were apparently living with her parents in 1820 and 1825. Or were they her only children? If she was born around 1785, she could have had a number of other children too.

Her known children were Henry Stringham (b. 1813) and Solomon Leonard Stringham (b. 1819). If she followed naming conventions typical at that time, her husband may have been named Henry Stringham.

There weren't many Stringhams on the early censuses in that area of New York. One was Henry Stringham, b. ~1758 in Cayuga Co., NY to Samuel Stringham and recorded in both 1800 and 1810 as living in Scipio, Cayuga Co., NY.
Thanks to LindaSmithID #48115952 for: "on the transcript of the death record for her son, Solomon Leonard Stringham her name is listed as Devey."

Were her sons living with Abram in 1830 and in Ohio by 1840 when Mary removed to that area? Did their older brother Solomon remove there as well? Was her son Henry born in Penn as his death record states? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G9ZR-J964-K

As for the names of her grandparents, does the traditional English naming order offer any clues?

The first son was named after the father's father = Elisha?
The second son was named after the mother's father = Curtis Hodges?
The third son was named after the father = Solomon, yes
The fourth son was named after the father's eldest brother = Abraham?
The first daughter after the mother's mother = Devey?
The second daughter after the father's mother = Lucretia?
The third daughter after the mother = no, went w/ Mabel instead
The fourth daughter after the mother's eldest sister = was that Mabel, or Mary?
