Abraham Clark, 2nd cousin of Deborah, was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, as a state representative of New Jersey. Clement Clark Moore, another 2nd cousin of Deborah, wrote the famous poem, "The Night Before Christmas."

Died during the flight from the Forty Fort battle and massacre in the Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania.
