Evidence shows that James Warren had a wife Deborah (Fuller) Tyler widow of Gideon Tyler of Sharon, Connecticut. James Warren was made guardian of her son Gideon Tyler. James Warren was married to Deborah at the time of his death in 1788 as she was named executor of his will.
