Delbert L. Seifert, 87, of Coopersburg died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of Doris P. (Moyer) Seifert. Born in Hellertown on September 4, 1922 to the late Thurston E. and Beulah M. (Sloyer) Seifert. Delbert worked for 40 years in the Die Shop of the Drop Forge Department of the Bethlehem Steel, retiring in 1983. He served his country honorably during World War II in the US Navy. Delbert was a member of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church - Coopersburg where he was a past Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He represented the church at the Southern Lehigh Food Bank. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 63 years; Sons,(three) Philip J. and his wife Joan in Timberlake, NC, Marc A. at home, Steven E. Sr. and his wife Donna of Quakertown; Brother, (one) Arlington L. of Newfoundland; Sister, (one) Celestine M. Seifert, Rockford, IL; four Grandchildren, five Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister, Eleanora Buddock. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Church, 6782 N.
