Jamestown (NY) Evening Journal MONDAY OCTOBER 3, 1904. DEATHS AND FUNERALS. Death of Mrs. C L. Wilcox. The death of Mrs. Delia Nichols Wilcox occurred this morning at 6 o'clock at the age of 46 years, 7 months, and 22 days. She was the wife of Celestas L Wilcox, daughter of Benjamin and Jane Nichols and sister of Charles M. Nichols, of this city, Mrs. Charles Brown of Buffalo, and Mrs. Frank H. Oakes of Ellicottville. The death of Mrs. Wilcox will be widely mourned. She was an active member of Queen hive, L.O.T.M., the Daughters of Liberty, Woman's Auxiliary, R. T. of T., and the Sweet Sixteen club. She had been a resident of Jamestown for about 20 years and was beloved by all who knew her. for her unassuming ways and her gentle and amiable disposition. The funeral will be held from the horns, li t South Main street.Wednesday at 2 p. m .the burial taking place at Kennedy, her former home.
